A Sentor site is one controller, the expansion cards it needs, and the software layer that manages it. Sites start with the capacity they require and grow by adding cards to the controller already installed — not by replacing the system.

Two generations, one installed base
Current generation
i7000
The i7000 is the current Sentor controller and the model specified for new installations. It succeeds the ST3000 family and was launched under the ST7000 designation.
Ask us for the current i7000 specification sheet when you are sizing a new site.
Earlier generation — fully supported
ST3000
The ST3000 family remains supported. Expansion cards, communications modules, keypads and sensors are still available for installed ST3000 sites, and the specifications below describe that platform.
If you are running ST3000 controllers, nothing needs to be replaced to add capacity or bring a new site online alongside them.
Controller capability
What one controller handles
Sixteen programmable inputs, expandable to eighty. Eight relay outputs, expandable to forty. The sixteen base inputs are split between eight optically isolated digital clean-contact inputs and eight general-purpose inputs configurable as analogue or digital.
Inputs accept clean contact closures, protected loops with end-of-line resistors, 0–30 VDC analogue, 4–20 mA current loops and direct temperature sensors in °C or °F. Analogue inputs are sampled up to twenty times a second at better than 0.5% accuracy.
Outputs are eight single-pole double-throw relays rated at 1 A, plus horn and siren outputs and auxiliary 13 VDC power for driving connected devices.
On board: two RS-232 and two RS-485 ports, X10 power-line carrier connection, a lead-acid backup battery charger, an on-board lithium battery, and tamper switch options. Ethernet and 3G/4G cellular are fitted as options.

ST317
I/O Expansion Card
Adds 16 programmable inputs (8 digital, 8 analogue) and 8 dry-contact relay outputs per card. Fits inside the existing controller housing; up to 4 per controller.
ST330
Telephone / Voice Card
Landline modem, dial-out to computer, telephone or pager, and alarm announcements in a recorded voice with keypad menus. Allows remote dial-in access.
ST30G
Cellular Modem
Multi-band 3G/4G always-on cellular data with a static IP address, serial-to-ethernet conversion and SSL-encrypted access.
ST301 / ST1100
Serial-to-Network Web Server
Network-enables a controller over LAN or internet. Two models of the same module: RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 to 10Base-T/100Base-TX, 2 MB flash ROM, configurable by internal web server, Telnet or serial.
ST505
Bi-Directional Power Coupler
Real-time forward and reflected power (VSWR) in watts or dBm. Almost zero insertion loss, non-invasive, pre-calibrated to frequency, male or female N connectors.
ST007V / ST007H
LCD Keypad Terminal
Vertical or horizontal heavy-duty backlit LCD terminal. Shows live device readings on site and acts as a security keypad with individual user PINs. Up to 31 per controller.
ST352A
Wiegand Access Interface
Connects card, proximity, fingerprint, iris and other Wiegand readers, supporting up to 64,000 users. A current-generation model is available.
ST9-302
SNMP Board
Attaches up to 48 SNMP devices. Supports SNMP v1, v2 and v3. Runs standalone or as a slave to the controller.
ST025
Temperature Sensor
Two-wire, self-powered from the analogue input. 0 °C to +100 °C, sensing accuracy ±0.4 °C, 91.5 µA supply current.
ST025E
Extended-Range Temperature Sensor
Extended-temperature version of the ST025 for outdoor and plant-room use, on the same two-wire electrical specification.
ST5000
NVR & Camera Kits
Network video recorder and camera kits, managed through SenVision. Eight-channel kits with 32-channel systems available.
ST-PB5
Fingerprint / Keypad Unit
Mini colour fingerprint reader and keypad, supplied in the biometric access package.

Expansion Ribbon Cable
Required when fitting more than two expansion cards. Supplied with the card.
Some earlier part numbers have been superseded by current-generation equivalents. Ask us to confirm the current part before you specify, particularly on a tender.
Sensing
What you can wire to a Sentor input
Anything that produces a contact closure, a voltage, a current loop or a temperature output can be connected directly, which usually means existing site instrumentation can be brought in rather than replaced.

SitePRO is the software referred to in older Sentor documentation as the Sentor GUI, and Message Pro as AMPro — in both cases the same package under an earlier name.
Protocols & integration

SNMP v1, v2 and v3
For network management integration. The ST9-302 board attaches up to 48 SNMP devices and can run standalone or as a slave to the controller.
DNP3
For utilities, water, oil and gas infrastructure, so Sentor sites report into an existing SCADA master. We confirm the conformance level directly with you when you enquire.
Modbus
Supported. Because the implementation depends on your configuration, contact us for the details that apply to your system.
Building systems
Integrates with Clipsal C-Bus and Honeywell systems already installed in many commercial buildings.
Access control
The Wiegand standard, which most card, proximity and biometric readers support, so readers are not tied to one manufacturer.
Connectivity
Cellular, ethernet and TCP/IP, fibre optic, satellite, radio and microwave, DSL and dial-up. Different sites on one network can use different bearers.
