Pre-configured Sentor packages

Six standard configurations covering the applications Sentor is specified for most often. Each is a starting point, not a ceiling — every one of them is a Sentor controller plus the hardware that application needs, and every one of them expands from there.

Why start from a package

Specifying a monitoring system from a blank sheet means deciding on input counts, communications, sensing and software all at once, usually before you know exactly what the site will need.

These packages remove that. Each one is a configuration that has been installed repeatedly for that application, so it starts from what those sites actually turned out to need rather than from a guess. Where your site differs, the package is adjusted rather than abandoned.

What a package does not fix

Package contents are a standard installation only. Individual sites regularly need additional hardware or software — more input capacity, a different communications bearer, ingress-rated housings, extra sensing — and that changes the final specification.

Nothing here is priced on this page, because the price depends on that specification and on your region. Ask and we will quote the configuration you actually need.

STP-01 · Standard package

Tower Monitoring

Power, RF and site condition monitoring for an unmanned transmitter site.

One of Sentor’s specialist applications. The package covers the tower site and its backup equipment — forward and reflected power (VSWR) and RSSI of radio transmitters in real time, batteries, generators, rectifiers, air conditioning, security, access control, fire and tower lighting alarms.

Typically specified by: Broadcasters, mobile network operators and two-way radio site owners.

Included in the standard package

  • Sentor controller (wall or 19″ rack mount)
  • ST505 bi-directional coupler
  • Serial-to-ethernet module for IP and cloud access
  • SitePRO graphical user interface software

Access Control

Card-based site access with on-site keypads and a full entry audit trail.

Card codes are held in the controller at each site, so access keeps working when the site is offline. SenCheck pushes card additions and removals across every site on the network in one action.

Typically specified by: Operators with multiple unmanned sites and no guard on the door.

Included in the standard package

  • Sentor controller (wall or 19″ rack mount)
  • Serial-to-ethernet module for IP and cloud access
  • Two ST007V LCD control keypads
  • Wiegand access control module
  • Twenty programmed swipe access cards
  • SitePRO graphical user interface software

Biometric Access

Fingerprint entry with voice-announced alarm calls over a landline.

The same access control arrangement, with a biometric reader in place of cards and an ST330 telephone card so alarms can be announced by voice call with keypad response options.

Typically specified by: Sites where credentials must not be transferable between people.

Included in the standard package

  • Sentor controller (wall or 19″ rack mount)
  • ST330 telephone interface module
  • Serial-to-ethernet module for IP and cloud access
  • ST-PB5 mini colour fingerprint and keypad unit
  • SitePRO graphical user interface software

STP-04 · Standard package

Video Surveillance

Network video recording with camera management software.

Video answers the questions monitoring alone cannot — who is at the gate, what the plant room actually looks like, whether stock are on the water. Managed through SenVision.

Typically specified by: Sites where a reading needs a picture behind it.

Included in the standard package

  • ST5000 network video recorder server
  • Six indoor box cameras
  • SenVision surveillance management software

STP-05 · Standard package

Site Security

A complete intrusion, alarm and access package with back-to-base notification.

A fully featured security system that offers back-to-base monitoring and uses scenario automation for control of the site and its access. Alarms notify individual staff or managers according to the severity of the alarm and where it came from, rather than sending everything to everyone.

Typically specified by: Depots, substations, plant rooms and compounds needing genuine site security.

Included in the standard package

  • Sentor controller (wall or 19″ rack mount)
  • ST317 I/O expansion module
  • Serial-to-ethernet module for IP and cloud access
  • ST330 telephone interface module
  • Six PIR motion sensors
  • Two door sensors
  • External siren and strobe
  • Two ST007V LCD control keypads
  • SitePRO graphical user interface software

STP-06 · Standard package

Environment Monitoring

Environmental sensing specified around the site rather than a fixed kit.

Environmental applications vary too widely for a fixed parts list. The controller is the constant; the sensing is chosen per site — wind, rainfall, temperature, water levels, solar generation, pollution and emissions readings, tunnel exhaust levels and carbon credit logging.

Typically specified by: Environmental agencies, water authorities, agricultural and research sites.

Included in the standard package

  • Sentor controller (wall or 19″ rack mount)
  • Environmental sensing specified per site

On package contents. These configurations are documented Sentor packages and the contents above are as specified. Controllers are shown generically because the i7000 is the current generation and the ST3000 family remains supported — we confirm the exact part numbers, including any superseded modules, at quotation.

None of these quite right?

Most Sentor installations start as one of these and end up somewhere slightly different. Tell us what the site has to do and we will specify it properly.
